Lego Architecture: Towering Ambition at the Henry Ford Museum

Can a children’s toy be considered artwork? Architectural artist Adam Reed Tucker showcases iconic landmarks built by lego blocks. The exhibit Towering Ambition is on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan. His creations are extremely detailed renditions which are quite impressive. In my youth Legos were rather basic compared to what is available today.

Lego’s presence in the art community is rapidly increasing with new groups and organizations forming across the country. Local Michigan Lego User Group which also had an exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum has shows around the detroit area and I would highly recommend visiting.
