Uproar 2014 Has Kicked Off in Detroit, Michigan!

Rockstar Energy Drink presents Uproar Festival which kicked off in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, August 15th at the DTE Music Theatre. Headliners included Godsmack, Seether, Skillet and Pop Evil, a local Michigan band. Other performances scheduled to appear at 2014 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival included Escape The Fate, Three Years Hollow, Sons of Reverly (last year’s Uproar “Battle of the Bands” winner), These Raven Skies and Tattered. The festival area featured band merchandise, vendors and live music! Vendors were giving chances to win front row seats, signed skateboards and other enticing offers for fans. Rockstar Energy Drink hosted a tent which included fresh beverages to stay cool during the hot sun. This rock solid event filled with fans of all ages. The excitement to see their favorite bands perform was enough to keep the fans waiting outside the doors until the venue opened.

The Rockstar Energy Drink main stage was filled with thousands of fans ready for the bands to begin performance. Artists took the stage with full force that heightened the festival to new level.

Pop Evil, formed in Grand Rapids, MI, brought the Michigan love to the crowd by starting off the night with a loud roar. Jen Ledger, drummer of Skillet, had an intense performance absolutely killed the set. Fans couldn’t take their eyes off of her. Seether enjoyed new songs from album “Isolate and Medicate” – classic album that fans should pick up if they have the chance. Godsmack closed the festival with one of the greatest rock performances of all times. Fans roared as the fire filled the stage. If you have the chance to watch this band live, just do it!
