Shepard Fairey: Mural & Public Matter exhibit
Shepard Fairey created his largest mural at 184 ft tall & 60 ft wide on the One Campus Martius, formerly the Compuware Building. He is most well known for his Obama Hope poster. The new mural is being financed by Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock Real Estate Services, which owns the building.
Shepard is also the second artist to exhibit his work in the “Public Matter” at “the Belt” an outdoor gallery next to the Z parking garage and the Library Street Collective that is in view of the new mural. Make sure to stop by the Belt and see the artwork for yourself.
