Detroit Riverfront comes alive with smell of jet fuel and monstrous roaring motors each year when the two day boat races happens. These are not normal boats by any means. These beasts are raging through the water so hard they leave a wall of water spraying higher then most trees in their wake.

The world knows Detroit for it’s automobiles, but Michigan has 62,798 lakes besides the Great Lakes surrounding it.  If you don’t have a boat in Michigan, you know a few people who do.
