New sculpture preview at the Whitney.

Detroit Design Center reveals new sculpture One World… Under Michigan Stars” at the Whitney mansion.

One World… Under Michigan Stars will be a 23 foot tall sculpture to be placed at the trail front for the hiking/biking “Iron Belle Trail”. This over 2000 mile double path Trail will start at Belle Isle Detroit or Ironwood in Michigans Upper Peninsula. The sculpture is made from steal & glass.

Sculpture was commissioned by the DNR parks and recreational division.

Some smaller models of past sculptures were also on display.
