One World.. Under Michigan Stars has been finished!
Detroit Design Center new sculpture “One World… Under Michigan Stars” is now placed at its home at Detroit Belle Isle. The sculpture overlooks a William Livingstone Memorial Lighthouse in the background. The surrounding grounds have not been completed.
One World… Under Michigan Stars will be a 23 foot tall sculpture to be placed at the trail front for the hiking/biking “Iron Belle Trail”. This over 2000 mile double path Trail will start at Belle Isle Detroit or Ironwood in Michigans Upper Peninsula. The sculpture is made from steal & glass.
Sculpture was commissioned by the DNR parks and recreational division.
