Flower Day @easternmarket is a Detroit Tradition for THOUSANDS!!! I went late to try missing the crowds and parking was still all the way down to the Mack/Russell intersection. Thats why there is not people shoulder to shoulder in every image.

Do you need plants for your garden? Need flowers? Trees? They have you covered and then some! In years past plants I got from Eastern market out performed those purchased elsewhere or grown from seeds. The Swiss Chard grew like flavorful weeds I just couldn’t keep up with. I ended up giving quite a bit to friends.

If you missed Flower day, Tuesday May 23 and 30th you can get your hands on flowers for your yard too. Or stop in for Saturday market 6am- 4pm.
