Noel Night: Detroit Design Center

Slightly off the main strip of Noel Night was the Detroit Design Centers gallery in the heart of midtown’s shopping district at 4225 Third Street.

Attendees stroll through the gallery appreciating the talent of local artists and the unique pieces on display. Filled with a diverse collection of sculptures, fine art, ceramics, wood work, Leather, and glass artwork.

The air is filled with the lively tunes of the bluegrass band Wilson Thicket, adding a musical touch to the event.

Explore a world of creativity at the Detroit Design Center, renowned for crafting custom large-scale sculptures, awards/trophies, corporate exhibits, and more. Uncover the artistry of the Nordin brothers, Israel and Erik, as they meticulously craft an array of exquisite home suitable sized items, from metal iPad/iPhone/paper holders to wooden trays, leather bags, bookshelf ends, and furniture. Amanda Nordin is a talented artist specializing in fine art, stained glass, and metal casting.

* I particularly admire their creatively sculpted swings as my personal favorite blending artistic design with functionality.
