Faceoff For Freedom

Foundation 14 & Motor City Veterans Hockey presented the 2nd Annual Faceoff For Freedom on March 23th at the Taylor Sportsplex.

Foundation 14 is a non-profit dedicated to putting combat veterans on motorcycles as therapy. And Motor City Veterans Hockey help veterans heal through hockey.

Former NHL player Johnny Ogrodnick was on the Foundation 14 team along with WRIF radio stations own Meltdown.

Foundation 14 fought an intense game but the Motor City Veterans hockey team came back for a 6-5 victory.

During the game breaks the Belle Tire Girls 10-Under team had shootouts against goalies.
